Your Health - My Health



  



Health is important to everyone.  No one wants to be sick or unhealthy.  But how to to achieve good, stable and optimum health? If you are already healthy with no sickness, it is well and good.  But if you are not maintaining good health, this blog will help you to get back on track.  

There are certain things we have to keep in mind regarding our health. There are four areas we have to be careful in keeping fit.  

The first one is FOOD.  Yes, what you eat is important.  If we are not careful about this, we will easily end up sick.  Unfortunately many people do not give first priority to this.  They want to eat anything and everything.  Some are voracious eaters!  They live to eat, while the best principle is 'live to eat', which is not rather appealing.  Sick people are mainly those who let themselves loose in this regard.  We have to be mindful of what we eat - healthy, wholesome and nourishing foods.  Many junk foods are there in the markets and super food chains.  We have to learn to eat right and be healthy.  

EXERCISE - the second area, which is not optional.  If the body is not given proper exercise, it is bound to give way to sickness and disease.  A regular 15 to 20 minutes simple workout will go a long way to establish good health.  This will also set the tone for an active daily routine.  An active life-style filled with minor health breaks like deep breathing,  brisk walking, engaging in sports, good and worthwhile hobbies and the like will establish our health and drive away all kinds of sickness. 

SLEEP and REST - is another area we have to be careful.  A sound (not noisy!) sleep of 6 to 8 hours in the nights will usher in welcome day times of good and lasting energy to last for the entire day. If we are lax in this, not only the work-place, but also our other times will sort of become a drudgery. 

The last but not the least, is good HABITS and ATTITUDES.  We have to have good habits and desirable attitudes to be social and maintain as well as increase better relationship with our family members, friends and all others.  

Only a desire to be healthy is not enough.  There should be a drive to achieve what we desire.  This blog hopefully will achieve that. I'll continue posting materials here touching the above four areas. Let us together maintain good health.
